Participants will explore the effects of adversity on development and evidence-based approaches to create safe and supportive learning environments, fostering resilience and healing. Trauma informed strategies that can positively support the well-being and development of the children will be highlighted.

Facilitator:  Carol Arthurs

Carol Arthurs is a school psychologist who lives with her family in Southwest Nova Scotia. She works in the public school system and has a private practice. She values advocacy, relationship based education and identifying strengths in her work with students, families and educators.

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. PT

You are invited to attend another workshop free of charge if you cancel after the five-day cancellation requirement. If Play Outdoors cancels the workshop, a full refund will be provided to you.
