This workshop moves risk-benefit thinking out of the binder and into practice. Participants explore what happens when children become genuine partners in weighing an activity’s risks against its developmental value — not passive recipients of adult decisions, but co-assessors with real input. Through a hands-on scenario exercise, participants discuss ways of reading children’s cues and words together, then leave with a usable risk-benefit template and the language to share with colleagues and families.
